Enneagram-Tests.com is a free enneagram test and reference site. It exists to give you an honest read on your type without an email wall, a paywall, or a hard sell. Take the test, see your full result, and read straight, non-mystical guides to all nine types. No account, no upsell, no drama.
Why this site exists
Most enneagram tests online do one of two annoying things. They make you hand over your email before you see anything useful, or they show you a teaser and then charge for the actual result. A few do both.
That’s the gap this site fills. The test is free, runs in your browser, and shows you the complete result on the spot: your primary type, your scores across all nine, your dominant wing, and a tritype estimate. No sign-up. No “unlock your full report for $29.” You came to learn your type, so you learn your type.
The reference pages exist for the same reason. Once you know your number, you should be able to read about it without wading through vague, inflated writing. The type guides, wing explanations, and hub pages aim to be clear, specific, and honest about what the enneagram can and can’t do.
Who’s behind it
This site was built by Tim, an independent web developer and site-builder who works on a range of small, focused tools and reference sites. You can find more of his work at timmyships.com.
The enneagram content here draws on the widely used Riso-Hudson framework and the broader body of enneagram teaching. It’s written to be accurate to that tradition and honest about its limits. Where the popular internet overstates things, like claims that the enneagram is thousands of years old or scientifically validated, this site says so plainly.
Our editorial stance
A few principles guide everything here.
Honesty over hype. The enneagram is a useful tool for self-reflection, not a scientific instrument. We say that clearly instead of dressing it up. You’ll find the same honesty on pages about the rarest type and most common type, where the real answer is that the data is limited.
No fabricated proof. There are no invented “3 million tests taken” counters, no fake star ratings, and no made-up research citations anywhere on the site. If we can’t back a claim, we don’t make it.
Your result is yours. The test scores your answers on your own device, and we don’t require an account or sell your data. See the privacy page for exactly how that works.
Clarity over jargon. The type guides are written to be read by a normal person, not an enneagram scholar. See how the test itself is built on the methodology page.

FAQ
Is the enneagram test on this site really free?
Yes, completely. You can take the full test, see your primary type, your scores on all nine types, your wing, and a tritype estimate without paying, creating an account, or entering an email. There’s no gated “full report” behind a paywall. The result you see is the whole result.
Who writes the content on this site?
The site was built by Tim, an independent web developer whose work is at timmyships.com. The enneagram content draws on the established Riso-Hudson framework and wider enneagram teaching, written to be accurate to that tradition and honest about its limits. Corrections can be sent to info@enneagram-tests.com.
How do I contact enneagram-tests.com?
Email info@enneagram-tests.com with questions, feedback, or corrections. If you think a type description or guide contains an error, that’s the best way to report it. Reader feedback helps keep the content accurate, which is a core part of how this site tries to operate.
Does this site sell my data?
No. The test scores your answers in your browser, and the site doesn’t require an account or sell your information. Aggregate traffic is measured with standard analytics, but your individual test answers aren’t collected or sold. The full details are on the privacy page.
